Uruguayan players got into a fight with spectators at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte following their team’s 1-0 loss to Colombia.

Liverpool striker Darwin Núñez will be out for five Uruguay fixtures, while Tottenham midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur was banned for four matches. Uruguay’s next World Cup qualifying matches are scheduled for September 6 at home against Paraguay and September 7 against Venezuela. Additionally, Núñez will be absent from the games in October against Ecuador and Peru as well as the home game against Colombia in November.
The incident took place at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, with Uruguay players involved in a brawl with fans after their team lost 1-0 to Colombia.
